A growing and unique HR Consultancy in Bristol seeks HR Consultants
to work within their consultancy team, developing and delivering a value
added HR service to a varied client base. This is an unusual consultancy
in that it offers genuine joined up thinking between its
service streams and offers the sort of total solution that
many of the Top 5 consultancies provide (but not at their day rates!).
The owner of the business has a vision to build the practice through
long term relationships and reputation and the environment here is fun
and informal but still professional.
These roles may suit experienced Interims who want to work in a friendly
team environment or an HR professional in a Corporate perhaps seeking
more variety or with a desire to use their experience in a Consultancy
environment. Whatever your background, the nature of Consultancy is
that is it varied you will work for a real mix of clients, from
SMEs with no HR department to Multinationals requiring assistance
with a defined HR project. Importantly you must be willing to develop
and grow client relationships as well as deliver work.
Principal Accountabilities will include:
- Business Development working with the business development
team to promote the HR retainer service to SMEs and selling the
services of the HR consultancy team for specific project based HR support.
- Delivery of Service - developing and delivering comprehensive
HR solutions to meet the needs of client companies and managing HR projects.
Acting as HR Consultant to a variety of client companies through both
the retainer service arrangements and through ad-hoc requests for professional
HR advice. Working with the Head of HR Consultancy to develop promotional
materials and market the organisation through seminars and events.
Person Specification
- At least 5 years experience of working in an HR Generalist Role.
At least one of the individuals we seek will have good Development experience
including exposure to Board level coaching, management development
and soft skills development.
- Experience of selling or promoting HR related services to small/medium
sized companies ideal but not essential
- Experience of delivering complex HR services and projects ideally
within different industry sectors so breadth and depth of HR experience
particularly useful.
- Creative with ability to identify and develop opportunities for
new business.
- Able to produce persuasive and professional proposal documentation.
- Possess the ability to communicate complex HR issues to people
from other disciplines.
- Experience of delivering on a number of HR projects at any given
time.
- Able to build long term relationships including identifying opportunities
to cross sell other services.
