leading foodser vic e company's employing over 5500 people nationally.
As a business their aim is to satisfy their customers' needs at the
same time as supporting, valuing and developing their people.
Our client is looking to recruit a Corporate HR Manager to manage a
number of significant corporate HR Projects and to lead and manage the
HR Support Centre team. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved
at the heart of this Company's HR team and play an integral part in
the achievement of its People Strategy.
Firstly, as the Corporate HR Manager, you will be responsible for the
initiation, implementation and on-going management of projects which
support the achievement of the People Strategy. Projects will include
developing innovative policies, managing award submissions, developing
people metrics as well as implementing changes to policies and procedures
to ensure compliance with new and revised employment legislation.
The second and equally important part of the role is leading and managing
the HR Support Centre team. You will be responsible for developing and
coaching a team of 10, of which 3 will be direct reports, to deliver
a professional service to the business and the HR team in line with
Company policy and employment legislation. You will be responsible for
ensuring that professional standards are maintained and full use in
made of resources e.g. HR system, which will include managing the implementation
of upgrades and additional system modules.
In addition, you and your team will support ad-hoc and annual processes
e.g. incentive scheme, census, pay review and manage day-to-day supplier
relationships e.g. Occupational Health.
You will be CIPD qualified, or will be completing your studies within
the next 12 months, and be able to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge
of employment legislation. Proven experience of managing and motivating
people, ideally within a busy HR Support or Shared Services function
would be an excellent advantage. With excellent process and project
management skills demonstrated through the successful delivery of business
critical projects you will possess a flexible approach and be able to
work comfortably on your own initiative.
You need to be flexible as the occasional overnight stay and travel
to other company sites to attend meetings will be required.
