An international promotion has meant that we now seek a Generalist HR Manager to
partner one of the business divisions, reporting to the Regional HR
Director with strong accountability to the UK division's MD. This is a
generalist role supporting approximately 300 employees based across the UK,
made up of a mix of sales, technical, administrative and head office staff. With
sound business acumen, the ideal candidate will be a strong relationship-builder with well-honed coaching skills and a hands-on and proactive approach to drive the operation forward.
Working under your own initiative and heavily involved with the senior
management teams to source, reward, develop and retain talent in the Division,
you will also be part of a credible team involved in UK and global HR project work.
Some of the key challenges in this role will be to enhance current
capability and salesforce effectiveness and to help create long-term
and robust people solutions which enable the Division to continue to
differentiate itself in the marketplace.
We seek a CIPD qualified HR generalist who can 'make things happen' by
offering both breadth and depth of experience gained across a number of
sectors. You should be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of a sales
and marketing culture and you should be highly practical and credible with a passion for providing pragmatic solutions to your clients. A team spirit and an approachable style, is essential. You must also be willing to travel with overnight stays in the UK.
