Our client a well known service provider with an enviable reputation,
is seeking an influential Regional HR Advisor who is able to build effective
relationships in a tough, multi-site, male dominated environment. This
role offers excellent opportunities for an HR Advisor who wishes to
work in a fast paced, constantly changing organisation which is a leader
in its field.
70% of this HR Advisors role will be working in the field and
from home, covering a large area South of Birmingham so odd nights away
should be expected. This is a challenging role with the need to be proactive
and visible and offers high levels of autonomy.
The new senior management team is totally focused and committed to HR
best practice, constantly striving to show how effective HR adds value
to the business. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the operational
support and performance of the business through HR initiatives, policies
and procedures.
KEY RESULTS AREAS
Implement tailored HR solutions in client areas using exceptional commercial
and operational awareness of departments & produce detailed reports
on all HR issues. Build and maintain client relationships using strong
influencing skills, coaching managers in how best HR practice adds value.
Manage operational HR demands giving consistent and appropriate advice.
Review & evaluate HR policies and procedures, maintaining awareness
of current employment legislation, using information sharing to produce
integrated HR initiatives.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
CIPD qualified
3 years relevant HR experience preferably in a multi-site environment
Working knowledge of: Recruitment; Employment law; Performance management;
Disciplinary and Grievance procedures; Facilitation of change; Project
management
Experience of using strong communication skills to build business relationships
at all levels across the Company
Commercial experience & strategic awareness
