Fiona Vennbrook
Fiona is currently on sabbatical until October this year. Fiona has worked tirelessly within her role and has helped Tom to develop the business to the success it is today.
We look forward to welcoming the return of a re-energised Fiona. Until then, Tom and the team will be covering for Fiona’s role.
Thank you.

I joined Purple House in 2005 because I like the colour and I’ve never looked back.
After a number of years in generalist recruitment management, in 1996 I studied what is now CIPD level 7 in order to better work with HR professionals.
For me it’s all about matching people to people. Naturally they have to have good technical skills and knowledge but it’s more about finding the right positive behaviour, the right communication style to fit a particular company culture and the right attitude and ability to add value. What I search for in candidates is huge positive energy, pace and passion and the communication skills to drive forward innovative change.
After 11 years of loving my job, I had the opportunity to buy into Purple House and become a Director. I jumped at the chance and continue to look at new ways to expand upon how we can even better support our clients and candidates in their search for that ‘perfect match’.
Beyond Purple House
Outside of work I love canoeing and we have been lucky enough to canoe the Italian Lakes, the Dordogne, lakes and rivers in Canada, The Lake District, Snowdonia and Bristol Docks – always a favourite of ours! The wild outdoor pursuits (Except Bristol Docks!) are countered by Zen time doing mosaics and playing with food.
In my personal life I thrive on being curious and doing new things. I’ve been fortunate enough to have found a career that gives me that same buzz.
